Seems that a lot of our community is interested in this idea.
We hope that the CLOUD community will do a different path to this ASR iteration from JUP.
I was wondering what initiatives can we do whilst waiting for staking to occur.
If this proposal were to be made in the forums, was wondering how’d you go about it.

I’m more concerned of users expecting the ASR as a CAPITAL sort of opportunity.
Hoping that we can mitigate that and focus on Earnestness instead.

I think “need” is too strong of a word.
I’d much prefer if we get “inspired” by it. But ASR clearly has the wrong intent in a lot of JUP community member’s eyes.
It does not direct into “earnestness” and instead promotes a bit of Merc. Capital Expectations because…
Stake CLOUD = receive tokens.
Users would then just stake for the sake of airdrop, which we all know clearly is a broken incentive program. Let’s do better?
Just being a devil’s advocate here since I believe that we do not want to emulate the bad. But definitely take on GOOD.

ASR main intend Is staking token and participate in decisions making by community engagement and hearing community view concern decisions making but it seems cloud have different perspectives toward their product. Dex and Lst it seems different though community engagement matter.

Hi,
I think, if i am understanding you correctly, forum users who are voting on the proposals can be rewarded in a similar way as ASR rewards whereby there is a pool of tokens that is distributed to all those who vote.
I think it would be nice if there is a pool allocation that proposalers also get a bonus too, as they are the ones shaping our discussion and allowing us to vote.

agree with this proposal, but also echo some of @Aro reservations.
Jup has demonstrated this model is effective but I think it could also be modified and improved upon.

It’s a good point to raise. Now that ASR is an established concept, how do we make it better or more unique?
Honestly I started staking JUP for the airdrop when I was brand new to the space. As time went on and I learned what these communities are actually about, I switched focus from farming, to believing. Can only hope that Sanctum Aligned ASR would take shape!
I think it has been mentioned before, but could be interesting to add another level to qualify and cast a vote. Perhaps a quiz, or a certain “voter” role that could be earned through sanctum discord?
Also I like the acronym AER, but maybe earnestness could be shortened to just “earnest” in this capacity. This is all exciting stuff!
