Fan vaults: Streamed rewards as subscriptions

yieldSOL (from the Sanctum app) is able to stream rewards from SOL staking.

I propose Sanctum build a Patreon-like competitor where creators can set up a profile and get their fans to stake yieldSOL and split revenue with the fans. In time this could be expanded to include other streaming rewards tokens (e.g., like how Streamflow’s USD+ streams USD+ rewards)

You can have staking thresholds and fans can add their social accounts against their wallet so creators can easily administer access or rewards based on their staking tier.

This really needs to be a useful product from the creator side. It should be very easy for creators to download lists of users, take bulk actions (integrations with Telegram, X, Substack etc… are key here), manage users in the portal (e.g. mark a user as added to email list), airdrop tokens to users easily and quickly, and so on.

How is this different to Creator Coins?

The streaming yield bit makes it more interesting.

The split revenue is also very different.

Creator coins were a heap of overhead (hence why they had permissioned access). This wouldn’t be.

Creator coins felt like memecoins only way more expensive and with none of the volatility upside/excitement.

There’s a real niche to be gone after in the subscription space. It’s not had any real innovation in forever.
Tokens already fill some of this demand for something different, even the largest crypto tokens are, in many ways, an access pass to a community, just an access you can freely trade.
