Season 2 - Process Improvement Ideas from Season 1

I did a brief look to see if this falls under anything else posted. forgive me if i missed it. Been swamped lately. If you know of a thread or an idea feel free to link it here so it can be discussed.

I would like to build off of what went well on Season 1 to be implemented this time around.

  1. Rewards - vest them or offer the option to claim early with a penalty. You want them now? sure. Claim and only get 75% the first 2 weeks. From there start the clock to start unlocking. How long? Idk, I’d say a minimum of 12 weeks. All tokens from early claims get sent to the burn pile.

  2. Optional Reward path - Create $CloudSOL. SOL rewards DCA’d into 50/50 of $CLOUD & $CLOUDSOL. All $CLOUD rewards from season 2 go into a vault on Met or Kamino and earn fees on a CloudSOL/CLOUD pair. Each user has a claim percentage of the pool that unlocks for w/d after 60 days (or ?).

  3. Instead of extra rewards for waiting to claiming. As mentioned in this thread https://research.sanctum.so/t/cloud-staking-options-for-wonderland-season-2/ create a “staking” mechanic to reward highly aligned Sanctum $CLOUD holders vs farmers.

  4. Announce the total reward allocated for season 2 - This increases transparency and should ease some of the FUD over how much went to basically supporting the LST eco in TVL vs Earnestness

  5. Continue the earnestness allocation. - Champions of the eco who help bring visibility, participate, and help other users should be identified and recognized. community alignment is important and underrated. this strikes a balance between mercenaries and serious sticky users of the product.

S1 had a 6month long vesting but with a x2 at the end !
I like it. Giving more sense to keep them lock if you believe in CLOUD.
I still think it’s the best to let ppl claim 100% or let them keep them locked but with a bonus. Could diminish the bonus if required, but letting ppl decide what to do instead of forcing them would be better ? Or just 25% penalty maybe, idk. The first claim had a 2 weeks lock as well.

The system was already good no ? Could have literally the same in fact :kissing:
