I propose creating a community Liquid Staking Token (LST) that offers non-monetary benefits to participating members instead of direct financial compensation. The goal of this LST is to further reward and engage the community while reinforcing the identity and spirit of the project.
Non-monetary benefits could include:
- Exclusive roles and badges on Discord, increasing visibility and influence within the community.
- Invitations to private events or webinars hosted by the project.
- Exclusive goodies such as stickers, t-shirts, or other personalized merchandise.
- Early access to new features or beta versions of products in development.
To attract new users and help them discover Sanctum and the LST system, several initiatives could be implemented:
- Regular LST giveaways: These periodic distributions would motivate newcomers to get interested in the project and actively participate in the community.
- Quests and missions to earn LSTs: New members could complete specific quests that allow them to explore Sanctum and earn LSTs by performing certain actions or participating in activities within the platform.
Sybil Attack Prevention
To prevent Sybil attacks (fake accounts created to exploit the reward system), we propose several protection measures:
- A mini-game integrated into the Sanctum universe: This mini-game would act as a CAPTCHA, requiring users to complete simple but interactive tasks related to the project to prove they are genuine human participants. This would make it harder for bots to create multiple accounts.
- Proof-of-Participation: Users would need to complete specific actions (quests, Discord interactions, event participation) to be eligible for rewards, ensuring authentic engagement.
- Gradual distribution: LSTs could be distributed progressively, based on the seniority and continued activity of members, discouraging rapid exploitation or the use of fake accounts.
These protection measures, combined with non-monetary rewards and engaging initiatives, will encourage an active and involved community while reducing the risks of abuse and fraud. We believe this approach will strengthen engagement around Sanctum and stimulate interest in LSTs, while fostering a more secure and fair ecosystem.
Canât wait to discuss about it with you !
Long Live Sanctum !
