I am thrilled to present a proposal for leveraging Sanctum’s CLOUD token within the vibrant Sanctum ecosystem to create a marketplace for the Sanctum community. This marketplace will allow community members to offer and exchange services, products, and skills using the CLOUD token as a medium of exchange. The marketplace aims to foster collaboration, entrepreneurship, and community engagement within the Sanctum ecosystem.

Creating a Marketplace for the Sanctum Community:

  1. Service Offerings: Community members can list their services on the marketplace, ranging from graphic design, programming, marketing, writing, tutoring, and more. Users can browse through the listings, choose service providers based on their offerings and reviews, and hire them using the CLOUD token as payment.

  2. Task Assignments: Users can post tasks and assignments on the marketplace that they need help with, such as completing a project, running errands, fixing technical issues, or any other task they require assistance with. Community members can bid on these tasks, offer their services, and earn CLOUD tokens upon completion.

  3. Product Sales: In addition to services, community members can also sell products and digital goods on the marketplace. Users can browse through various listings, purchase items using the CLOUD token, and have them delivered digitally or physically, depending on the nature of the product.

Really good points in terms of possible utility integrations direct to CLOUD as a token.

I think no. 1 will point back to the Sanctum Launchpad…

Task assignments might relate to the Sanctum Profiles, if we do grow into using them for defi purposes…

For no.3 … unsure if its possible or viable for governance tokens to be utilised as currencies… have yet seen an implementation like that work in the market yet…

nice post feels a lil chat-gpt tho. although you aren’t meant to grammatically use a comma before 'and’ when joining a list of items so maybe it isn’t. your use of “, and” in the last paragraph seems correct though as its conjunction of two clauses.

Love this because it promote positive sum, really using $CLOUD not to gamble or trade, but for real value.

sounds like a web3 fiverr using cloud as currency ?

know of one other project, trying similar and it gets complicated legally i believe (no expert)

also could instigate sell pressure as those recieving would sell to get USD ? its maybe part of their actual source of income being a free lance worker

who would do the arbitration in the event of something going wrong? can’t really just be anyone, if we’re talking payment for works done, to make it secure and trusted would imo need to be those with a recognisable background within that arena

all things to ponder on, once sanctum is a much bigger and more renowned platform thesecould be revisted, for now, for me its a step just to far outside our area of expertise so would draw resources and capital away from that core
