Summary
- A new SOL LST for the ORE community.
- SOL yield is converted to ORE (at market rate) and returned to oreSOL token holders.
- A corresponding multiplier will be applied in the ORE Boost system for oreSOL stakers.
Summary
lets goooo I want to hold it and bet on ORE for long term!
I don’t know It it is a good proposal. ORE is an inflationary token
Hey Chad, thank you for taking the time to write a proposal here
I believe there are good synergies to explore between Ore and Sanctum so happy to connect on Telegram and discuss further, my handle is @alkineeeee
Could be a good idea to expose people to being invested in ORE for those that like the idea of rewards from an LST.
What problem yours team intent to solve by introducing OreSol in Lst.
@HardhatChad @Alkine Do we have bridges for this? This LST would be interesting.
Proposal is definitely a bit short but straightforward. I guess this can satisfy some people from the ORE community but doesn’t have any appeal from me, and looks, from my perspective, value extractive.
Very good proposal!
oreSol investors would have:
1 Sol price exposition
2 Ore airdrops
3 Restaking feature: staking oreSol will get Boost (staking rewards)
4 Obtained Ore can be sold for instant yield or staked for higher Ore return.
Ore community would have:
1 Higher visibility
2 More Ore holders
3 More liquidity (by staking) and price appreciation (buyback) if oreSol holders stake more Ore than they dump.
4 Token utility
Are the risks higher than these rewards?
Seems to me like a natural extension of the ore ecosystem. While I have traded it in the past, emission would have to be tackled, or some way of equating the stake APR with rewards in Ore, like @Dragostino mentioned, it’s important to get a clear view of what the rewards would be and how would the original ORE token play into this.
