Catalytics Platform (LST monitoring and more coin categories in the future)

Hey everyone!

We’ve just submitted a proposal on Jupiter Research with a friend to build a platform that provides real-time analytics and comparison for Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) on Solana. The project, called Catalytics, will help users track performance, verify APY claims, and make more informed staking decisions.

The goal is to bring more transparency to the LST ecosystem and expand the platform to other token categories like meme coins and DePIN based on community feedback.

If you’re interested, we’d love for you to check out the proposal and share your thoughts! You can find all the details here:

:point_right: Catalytics Jupiter Proposal

We’re really excited about this and would appreciate any feedback from the community. Let’s keep building the Solana ecosystem together! :rocket:

Well, I knew someone was gonna do it.

However, I disagree with combining speculative meme coins with LSTs on the same platform. I may catch some flack for saying this, but I think meme coins, in some ways, are harmful to health and widespread adoption.

I also wonder if this is something that Sanctum already has in the pipeline.

Thank you!

@n8tr0n it is not meant to be in the same section of the application and we also dont even know if we are going to implement the same for meme coins. It is just an initial idea and we will follow what the community is demanding.

Thank you for your feedback, it means a lot!

Would love a similar breakdown of how Catalytics could be used in Sanctum ecosystem.

Otherwise, really interesting project you have!

Maybe this might be considered for the next Token Governance Vote.

Go Buildoor Go!

What do you exactly mean in the sanctum ecosystem? LSTs are a big part of it.

We are not really up to date out the processes in the forum. Maybe this post isn’t at the right place. We would welcome some community feedback on it and also maybe from the team.

In software development there are so many ways to expand but we want to build something that will help the community and that the community wants to see and use.

I hope we can get some more attention through this, otherwise I don’t know what would be the right canal to communicate with the sanctum team

The best channel to do so is actually via Sanctum Forums (here).

As I am aware that @fplee is always around in the forums (when not dev’ing and Buidling).

Currently there is no streamlined process yet for DAO decisions to be made, but at the moment we are running a Community-run Grant Pool (proposal submission ended 30/09/2024).

My feedback is that we’d love to see a proposal similar to what you outlined in the Catalytics Jupiter Proposal .

As we do not have a Working Group formed yet, there isn’t a formal process and are building it with the community together.

Thus far I felt that the budgeting for the project is fair given the 3/4 months timeline. I wonder what sort of bi-weekly deliverables could be achieved to ensure that grant prop for JUP gets utilised efficiently?

Thank you for your response. The proposal in the jupiter forum is what we suggest. See Task 1-2-3 and the phases.

Ofc this can change, according to the needs and what the community and the team expects from us. Creating a “trust index” for each LSTs is something very important and this index has to be correlated with many metrics. It is not just APY that is important.

We have been working severals months on different projects and everything is possible to develop. Literly everything. We need a guide; we need the community to express their needs and what will make their lifes easier in the daily monitoring/trading etc. Ofc every is bound with time and costs and the timeline we proposed (3-4 Months) is a realistic one to provide a good user experience and quality data. What happens afterwards is open; we can expand in every possible manner if there is demand.

As you said there is no formar process for applying and we are already “too late” for the proposals that have been made. What is your suggestion? how should we proceed? We would really love to get intouch with some people from the team.

We dont want to get lost in bureaucracy
