This would include the total number of SOL for the sanctum basket of LSTs. Total value of sanctum LSTs.
trading fees total. Trading fees shared with INF.
biggest gainers in total staked SOL.
Biggest loss of total staked SOL
APY leaderboard
amount of DCA’d tokens dropped for each DCA pair. (currently just WIF and UPT)
these visual displays will help tell the story of what is happening on the protocol as well as bring a big level of transparency to the community helping build trust and faith.
The problem now is the info is there but not compiled into one clean interface that tells the story of Sanctum
Data visualisation and easy metrics being provided would aid Sanctum Curious individuals who want to know more before going deeper into Sanctum.
I agree with having an internal stat page like a LST Dashboard that is maintained… Other projects like Perp DEXs such as GMX(GMX | Decentralized Perpetual Exchange) and Hyperliquid (https://stats.hyperliquid.xyz/) have them to provide the general volume, distribution and other data metrics which can be useful to pull from for researchers looking into the fundamentals of a project.
In agreement for something like this to be created.
Totally agree, man. Having all these stats—total SOL in the Sanctum basket, trading fees, biggest gainers/losers—compiled into one dashboard would be a game-changer. It gives a real-time snapshot of what’s happening, plus having that APY leaderboard is a nice way to visualize where the best opportunities are for staking.
Right now, the info is scattered and kind of hard to piece together, so bringing it all into one clean interface would definitely help with transparency. It’s not just about having data; it’s about telling the story of what’s happening on the protocol. Showing how much DCA’d tokens are dropped for each pair would make it easier for people to see how their assets are working for them.
Also, the biggest gainers/losses in staked SOL would create some healthy competition, and make it super clear where users are moving their assets. More transparency equals more trust and community engagement, which is key for any protocol’s growth.
I’m very much in favor of developing a dashboard. I echo what @MikeAF and @cee_808 stated.
Transparency, organization, and functionality can heavily improve acquisition and retention as well. I have definitely faded a project or 2 for the lack of these things.
Would it work to morph the current profile on sanctum.so into this dashboard?
I like this idea a lot! It’s hard to keep up with the LST landscape so surfacing progress on a dashboard would increase visibility.
The dashboard could also include info on governance… assuming their is staking it could show percent of $CLOUD staked, and data from governance (e.g. links to recent votes and results). The governance/community is part of the picture alongside LST adoption IMO.
No offense. I love all our ambition and willing and helpful spirit, but after some further discussion here I feel like this may be more of a core team decision.
Our feedback and suggestions will always be very important to the continued development of the platform and the features that are added, but this may not be something for the DAO to handle.
I think we need to fully utilize the “suggestions” channel and even add a voting or thumbs up system to let the team know which suggestions are heavily supported to help them prioritize more effectively.
