[Feedback Needed] A new way to learn more about LSTs

Hey folks,

As mentioned during our latest Community Townhall, the team is looking to make it easier and more delightful for you to discover and learn about LSTs. This is increasingly important as we launch more LSTs moving forward.

See our ideas attached in the drafts below, and let me know your thoughts!

Looks great. Under “About” section, can we link the X profile of founder and/or other socials for community to know the team behind these LSTs?

Good initial thought! To dig slightly deeper, whose personal X accounts would you like to see for LSTs from big renowned teams? E.g. LSTs from Bybit and Jupiter.

On the contrary, I would say small teams becoz community is already aware of big renowned projects. Having said that, it would be great if we could add for all LSTs for consistency purpose. As you mentioned in townhall, investing in LSTs is not only about LSTs APY but also about teams behind them

I love it and specially using our great Beng’s LST as an example. I like the idea of displaying the APY but more important the feature of digging into the LST to find the service (like the case of Health-SOL). I also agree the link to their X is great and if applicable to their Discord server too.

Looks good so far, love the effort

Hi CW, on the chart - would it make sense to overlay another line graph of staked sol on top of the APY per epoch?

so like on epoch 420 there was 69 thousand staked sol

or something.

It might mess with the beautification goal, but some deeper metrics might be well-received.

You could even toggle it on or off depending on what graph library you’re using

Big fan of this. Maybe it could be useful to include some basic stats/data somewhere on the discover page that can help give users overview of yield compared between each LST.

Simple toggle off and on LSTs you wish to compare and see each their historic APY, instead of going one by one.

Maybe also add a category of filtering for LSTs whom have confirmed to be doing an airdrop to their stakers. Eg. vSOL who has a point program or anyone who has confirmed to eventually reward stakers with their own token.

Well aware that there might be ones who dont want to give away confirmations about them doing airdrop to stakers, but could be optional for those LSTs who wishes to or already has confirmed.

very useful and transparent, maybe a section about benefits of holding the LST in particular.

Most important introduction I would like to see is some info of possible defi opportunities with each LSTs, or atleast the ones that you “verify” / intergrate as a part of Wonderland (as you did for INF only with marginfi, kamino and meteora for S1)

Would 1) help guide users towards possible opportunities to use their LSTs on and 2) give transparency on which LST-defi combinations you can use and still expect S2-EXP.

Eg.
JupSOL defi-opportunities

  • Marginfi lending (link) EXP: :white_check_mark:
  • Kamino lending (link) EXP: :white_check_mark:
  • Kamino multiply (link) EXP: :x:
  • Iloop (link) EXP: :white_check_mark:

Thanks for the future update. Information, that will be shown, is really useful. Please find some thoughts below.

Regarding the first screen, it looks like something wants to be shown down to the right - another small block of information may be added. I think it can be client’s information connected with his achievements in Wonderland with the pet, associated with this LST. For example number of points, gained by pet, his level, etc. Also in this block news about LST may be shown.

On the second screen it would be cool if user could some how assess the risks of investment to each LST. APY are practically the same, but risks are not. We can already see the volume of invested funds, but it’s not the only indicator. So maybe some more information about security, top investors, ratings if any or something like this.

Do you mean amount of SOL that’s staked into the particular LST’s stake pool? Can be done of course. Why might this comparison of Staked SOL vs APY per epoch be interesting to you?

The overall UX looks really good on both screens. However, I have some feedback regarding the color palette. I’m not entirely sure that the blue you’ve chosen aligns with your brand’s blue (the one from your logo). A darker shade within the same color range might work better.

Another point is about the ‘featured token’ cards—there’s potential to use more color here, so let’s explore that. When I look at both screens, they feel a bit too much like a spreadsheet. Apple-style design focuses on adding color where it’s needed.

Aside from these couple of points, great work overall! :handshake:

Nice work. I see where youre going w this, and it does an excellent job of personifying the LST (HealthSOL in this example). This builds on one of the key strengths from season 1 which was organically gamifying the collection of LSTs. A youtuber i watch compared these to Pokeymons. ie the project’s method of operation turned LSTs into collectibles. You can use this concept to crank up this exact idea youve started here, by formatting the info similar to the back of a baseball card, where you have standardized info, and then some unique highlights.

The colors added to the collectability, and maybe the nostalgic aspect so definitely continue w that.

Occasionally Ill see an LST priced lower than SOL which would be an easy opportunity to seize arbitrage. If these LST bios will be released overtime instead of all at once, it could present an opportunity to highlight undervalued LSTs

Looks great!

I love this idea. Allow users to compare the APY of LSTs is a plus for me.

As a user, I would like to know about additional benefits beyond just the APY. For those who invest their funds for profit, it’s essential to understand all available benefits. For example:

Bonksol holders receive airdrops of BONK every few days.

Certain CEX LSTs may offer reduced trading fees for holders.

It would also be helpful to add tags for these kinds of benefits. Some users might prefer LSTs that reward holders with airdrops or other incentives. (The examples provided are just a few, but there are many other types of additional benefits.)

Love this dashboard ! It is clear and everything you need to know is easy to see.
I would just add one metrics : flows to see the “trend”. It could be useful to know if more people are coming are leaving this LST. And we could image a “Cloud Popularity Mascot” (Red, yellow, green) to stand for this metric.

As you mentioned, consistency is important. In addition to displaying the current APY on the graph, should we also include the average APY over a specific period (e.g., X months)?

Adding a prediction of how many Sol you would receive if you use that LST could be a great idea. In this way will be much easier understand your investment.

Also explain epochs could be great
