[Feedback Needed] A new way to learn more about LSTs

Will be important to showcase “benefits” of each creator coin, giving them a chance to compete against big ones.

Story telling, “personification”, to choose a creator LST over some of the big ones need to be possible by reading this page : a “why”, more colors, last updates from the creator… If we want creator coins to succeed, small push here and here will be needed imo.

For creator coins, the APY will always be 0 so does it make much sense to have time series charts for these. However you might want to keep it for consistency with other LSTs. Something to think about.

I like how theres a special creator coin tag for healthSOL. For creator coins especially might be a good idea to give more details about the creator and what they can provide.
Linking their twitter would be a nice touch.

I like the front Discover page. Instead of a list where users have to scroll down, maybe a grid like structure could show case more LSTs in one view.

All looking great so far to me!

please tell me there’s a dark mode

people already made great suggestions like possible defi integrations and other point systems that are running.

maybe we could also show additional statistics on # of holders and % of tokens held by top wallets (like bubble maps and holder scan).

There should also be links to each projects Discord + Telegram + Twitter + ect.

Other than that, looks solid !

Great work from the team!

I think this is interesting, because like @Begrime800 is saying, I’d find myself investing in health SOL because of the story behind it and I think this would extend to all creator coins, a merging of the story for the creation, possibly some images and the socials of the creator of the coin and the financial information everyone else has given would indeed help people make better decisions. This is me thinking out loud but I don’t know if the about us section should have a higher priority than the swap or the charts so that you don’t have to scroll once you land on the page to get the TL;DR.

The site needs at least some sort of images + graphics, to give each project the chance to show what they are about. The Wordpress plugin page does a good job. Simple but it works. See below.

It would be pretty useful to have a short bio, socials, and apy on each project so I can browse through LSTs more efficiently

I think the design is lovely and up to Sanctum standards UX wise. I think the dashboard will be a hit in providing folks with the information they need to compare and pick the LSTs they want to entrust their SOL to. However, here’s a suggestion: have each LST page have a ‘testimonial’ from a real user that holds and supports that LST. It would add a human (dare I say ‘earnest’) touch and let folks espouse who/what they support in a way that would resonate with readers on a different (more emotional) level than an APY%, date of inception, total SOL stats, or the ‘official’ LST blurbs.

E.g. “I hodl hSOL because of all the great work Helius does for the Solana Ecosystem.”

Feedbacks on the List all LSTs page:

  1. the Sol price column is quite irrelevant
  2. Yield-bearing, Creater Coins, … should be added as a new column or as labels next to the LSTs name
  3. Hovering on APY might need some tooltips on the rewards like commission, MEV kickback, extra rewards from protocol (jito/blaze)

Reasons:

  1. When choosing a new LST, I would only care about expected returns (APY), not what the current price is. Tbh, I think newcomer would be confused by what that means
  2. I believe in WYSISYG, having filters above but clicking just show a bunch of LST without clarifying the results (by adding corresponding labels) feels weird to me
  3. Always good to be informative

Really nice! Great design as always :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Nice to see pathSOL at rank 1, with 210,000 staked (maybe it will happen the future)

As pointed out by @.Mithelen, APY of creator coins will always be 0%, so other info might be useful. For example, pathSOL and healthSOL could include pictures and summary info about things that the organizations behind those creator coins have accomplished

I like it, much more readable than what we have now.

Loving it! With the number of LSTs constantly growing, we definitely need clear ways to differentiate them to make choosing easier, haha! The more info, the better - while keeping it clean, simple, and easy to navigate. I’m also super excited to see a Creator’s Coin tab - I can’t wait to have them with us! It’s going to be an explosion of creativity and potential!

By the way, not sure if there are any limitations, but I’d absolutely love it if we could swap SOL and LSTs for CLOUD directly on the Sanctum platform! Would be a sweet feeling :star_struck:

clean and simple, whilst keeping the look and feel of the app, i like it a lot

maybe add Telegram to the socials

obviously theres no graph shown, but current APY is a must

was thinking about defi links, but could get complicated and messy to keep upto date ( with the number of platforms and LSTs both available and coming) so for simpicities sake maybe not on these pages :man_shrugging:

I’d like to see a mockup of something like jupSOL, bonkSOL or strongSOL :face_with_hand_over_mouth: to see the info included for some of the benefits (as they all offer slightly different) and see how the page looks

Nice! I like that as a user you have a better overview on what the differences between the different LSTs are and what apy you get.

A link section for socials to who is proposing it/who it is for would let us do our own due diligence. UI looks very nice; i think filters would go a long way. Maybe an average APY for those with rapidly changing ones?

Love it, very good job mate
Nice and clear UI, friendly to average user.
All the important info are there.
Does the “about” section include the backers/team/founders? I meant some info that gives reliability to the project? I would like to know these kind of things for a project I follow.
Thank you

I think that as APY fluctuates it’d be interesting to see how many people are moving in and out of the LST.

Also, seeing LST’s popularity grow and fall could be a valuable metric for a user determining which LST to choose.

Looks pretty clean. In the about section there should be a space for the LST creator to put a sales pitch, welcome message, thank you note, or whatever they want to add. I can’t see what it says if you hit “read more” so it may already be there.

I have a few suggestions though.

  1. dark mode obviously
    2 & 3 are basically either or
  2. A survey with meter that users can say how bullish they are on each particular LST
  3. A review section like app stores where people can add a review of the LST
  4. Twitter feed that populates every tweet the project makes. This would require a paid api key but cost could be cut down if it only updates like 1-2 times a day instead of in real time or on page refresh. This would allow the team or person to send updates about the LST or project directly which is important if you’re DYOR before buying.

What’s the logic for featured token selection? Maybe we could do like search engines and charge to be higher on the list and a higher premium for the featured section. It’s not mandatory obviously but it seems like a decent micro transaction opportunity.
