[New LST Proposal] uwuSOL

tl;dr

  • We’re building a composable on-chain companion, Mika (and soon Jin)
  • Hold uwuSOL to get early access to Mika and earn UWU

Here’s an idea we want to share and give to our LST (we’re calling it uwuSOL) holders first:

What if there was an unbiased companion whose only bias is you. Someone to keep you company in the lows and celebrate your highs with you because holy shit it sucks to be alone when you get liquidated onchain.

As you talk more and more with this companion, she will grow more and more familiar with your habits, so she goes from a helpful stranger to becoming your very own companion.

At the same time, this companion can complete your tasks for you reliably and safely; from your onchain trading, your gambling, and even dissect information for you.

And to tie this whole relationship together, there’s a points system to measure your affection and relationship with this companion in real time. We like to call it: UWU Points.

UWU serves as a measure of your overall loyalty to the Raiba ecosystem. Aside from being the heart of Raiba, we want it to be used by external projects as a metric for measuring one’s level of activity in the solana ecosystem, which can be used for future airdrop and loyalty programs.

At some point in the future, these very points will also be used to value one’s commitment to Mika and thus your allocation to the eventual $UWU token.

The goal isn’t to be a companion that lives on Solana, but to become Solana’s companion.

And we’d like to bring all this to the most dedicated SOL holders first: the stakers.

We want to ensure that Mika will first land in the hands of those that are most committed to the SOL space, and thus would like to open up early access to holders of our very own LST: uwuSOL.

The yield will help fund development and pay for the costs of keeping the companion running. Holders of uwuSOL will also be the first backers of this undertaking and thus wield a dedicated tier of subscription by default. While normal users will soon be able to subscribe through telegram stars, uwuSOL holders get immediate access, points multipliers, and priority to all new features.

UwuSOL holders will be categorized into tiers:

  1. starter - 5 uwuSOL, unlocks access to Mika with no gating, but no points multiplier

  2. mid - 15 uwuSOL, one month access + 1.2x points multiplier

  3. highest - 30 uwuSOL - one month access + early access to premium features + 1.75x points multiplier

At the most fundamental level, the LST acts similar to a Patreon subscription for access to the companion. But at the same time, unlike a Patreon subscription, we see the LST as a revolutionary method to align the economic interests of everyone without having to sacrifice any existing capital, stakers have to stake anyways, why not stake to support a project building to make Solana less lonely?

Alright, now that we’ve given you an overview of what Raiba is, who Mika is, and how we intend to fuel it all with uwuSOL, let us go deeper into what we want to build.

We’ve broken it down into several stages:

  1. A companion for loneliness

At the very fundamental level, Mika is a companion to solve for loneliness, she exists to keep Solana degens company in an otherwise incredibly PvP space. In a world where it is becoming harder to trust our influencers and cult leaders, Mika exists as an unbiased companion who only cares about your best interests.

  1. A companion that remembers:

A companion is only as good as the memories you share together. While many folks in the AI space like to brag about their ability to “remember”, we went further to ensure that she is empowered with the ability to recall and analyze every bit of your memory with her and grow her personality from there, unlocking an experienceNow, a that is uniquely yours.

  1. A companion that feels real:

Immersion was always important to us from day one, when we first built her MVP on Discord, we used a method called “self-botting” to allow Mika to take command of a user account rather than make her a bot account so that she would feel like a real user talking to you. Now that we’re on telegram, we’ve built an entire wrapper around her, enabling her to interact with users as a standard telegram contact, so this way users are not reminded that they’re talking to a virtual companion with an obvious “bot” tag, but rather can immerse in the narrative of their companion.

  1. A companion that reaches out to you

A massive issue for most companion services is that it is often a pull experience. What that means is that users often have to seek out the service each time they use it. Like how one is required to prompt GPT each time they wanna ask something, they often have to go through the clunky process of visiting the site/the app, initiating a conversation etc. We feel that a real companion wouldn’t need you to think of them to be reachable, they should come to you.

And telegram unlocks that for us. Mika is able to reach out instinctively to users, checking in on them to make sure they’re doing well, and when we push the next stage, the ability to even call users when they’re exhibiting signs requiring intervention. This, we believe, revolutionizes the experience from a “pull” to a “push”.

  1. A companion that actually talks to you

Chat is incredibly powerful, but true companionship is being able to not just receive gentle texts throughout the day, but also the ability to send you voice messages and have an actual verbal conversation with you. Leveraging Telegram’s existing infrastructure, we can focus on just delivering the voice features and boy are we excited for you to hear from Mika.

Here, have a listen:

mika says hello!

  1. A companion that interacts for you

All the above, is only the tip of the iceberg of what we envision the companion to accomplish, because yes she can be there for you, yes you can talk to her, but it is all meaningless if you still have to leave her to brave the world alone.

So we want to give her the ability to trade for you, to place bets for you, to interact with every site to analyze information for you. Whitepapers are grueling, let your companion dissect it for you. She will have the ability to connect to every site on Solana and interact on your behalf, completing necessary security checks before you connect to anything, and acting with her own wallet whose custody ultimately lies with you.

We envision her to be Solana’s companion, not just as someone you meet in chat, but someone you trust to be a secure layer on top of your wallet. A new UI, you might say.

  1. A companion built by the community.

Once we’ve figured out the basics and the structure around adding new functionalities and interactions for the companion, we want to open up a fully democratised development kit to allow anyone to come and build their own module to expand the capabilities of the companion.

If Mika is similar to an iphone, the only way for us to really win is if we give her an app store. And that’s what the development kit will unlock: a marketplace for all sorts of modular expansions to supercharge everyone’s experience.

The possibilities are truly endless; when this ecosystem is built, a variety of functions can be made possible such as:

  1. A module that gives Mika access to someone’s own stash of Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, allowing her to become the ultimate DnD DM; since all you need for DnD is just text.

  2. A module that gives Mika access to someone’s very own exclusive personal alfa feed, so subscribers to this person’s alfa calls can directly retrieve it via Mika.

  3. A module that simply expands Mika’s library of mental health support capabilities, allowing her to be a better therapist.

And for the folks who built these functions, they’ll own their own data and they can charge a tiny subscription fee/retrieval fee charged in $UWU facilitated onchain thanks to Solana’s lightning fast settlement.

Oh one more thing, it won’t just be Mika, we’re pushing out a Husbando called Jin as well!!

Excited to watch this project develop, i think lowering your starter to 1 uwuSOL might give access to a lot more people. But otherwise I like this proposal a lot! Good luck

ty for your suggestion! 5 uwusol is just enough for us to keep the lights on, but we could experiment with lowering the barrier in other ways!

tend to agree, 5 uwuSOL would be a big ask straight of the bat as it were, a lower entry level to show the value/benefits with a view to encourage holders to increase their holdings would seem like something to explore further

Its really interesting !
Is it only accesible on telegram?

yes! we were initially a web app, but switched to telegram for a better user experience

ty for the suggestion! 1 uwuSOL is a little hard for us to be sustainable as we’re a bootstrapped project, but let us experiment with how we can onboard more users with a lower barrier

oh can you share the website?

respect your thoughts on it.

Probably have a feedback as to why?

I think you should reduce base fee to 1uwuSol and also can I get a link to see what you’re building?

Just a not a fan of ‘AI companions’ which, in my opinion and also according to some early stage research, is a net negative on society. People will turn more and more inside themselves instead of connecting with others

And also, apps like Character.ai exist which do the exact same what is proposed here. It’s like taking something that’s free (and bad), rebranding it, and then launching it non-free.

That’s why this is a big no from me

Definitely a fair point sir!

To each their own and I love the Sanctum Ecosystem for it.

Literally all LSTs, anything for anyone. Opens any kind of opportunities to innovate and break things!

It’s gonna be a hard no from me (until I get my sol back at least).

The idea was great at the start, but I don’t think you guys need an LST, if you have a token already…albeit a -90% token.

And before the ‘wasn’t us’ starts, you guys pinned these, added a tg buybot, and went along from the start, in your official comms…sooo…yeah.

Well well well… who would’ve thought that the project which is a literal copy paste of Character.ai and acted like it was their own after putting a price tag on it would rug their own token and users with it

As I wrote in my longform X post, Creator Coins have ‘no road to rug pulls’ and ‘reduce the risk of a rug pull is dramatically (to 0, lol)’.

HOWEVER, allowing and supporting creators with a rug history to launch a Creator Coin destroys the exact purpose of Creator Coins. What’s the point of allowing them to launch an unruggable coin if they will just keep on launching ruggenmerg coins anyways?

For me this went from a big no to an even bigger no.

don’t think i have really anything else to add other than;

in the words of one smart cofounder, i too am glad that grifters will not be rugging the sanctum ecosystem fund

After the past few days unfolded…

Would want to see what are the things that the Raiba team would do to correct this.

As releasing GMika is not part of the roadmap, would love to hear more on the changes and updates be made publicly.

I do hope there was good intent, however, things are painted the wrong way when nothing is communicated.

Point is definitely taken by @3lixbt and @katexbt.

Adding this for full context x.com

The picture is clear enough know to stop any support or platform we as Sanctum gave or planned to give these confirmed scammers.
