Cool commemorative i’m good with (as i said in a rather long winded way lol anything else i’m not really sure its the best used of our resources etc)
so a few thoughts for want of better word
- if its a commemotative free collection needs to be large scale, there were 1000s on 1000s in wonderland, we should aim to include as many as possible rather than exclude via small collection
- Would these be the “pets” as we sure in S1 ?
- Who would do the art, and do it justice if its to be a Sanctum Sanctioned collection (just my personal opinion so taking nothing away from the lovely art created by the community, from a pfp/nft perspective nothing comes close to the official pets visuals and quality, i think they are that is what peeps will expect)
- Traits/Rarity Drip usually come in common, rare, legendary so as DRIPs are tradeable to “collectors” can trade away to their hearts content so no need to soulbound them
- As the LST providers are their own businesses/projects some indeed CEXs with a whole new level of corporate proceedures, protocols and oversight, others may have their own existing NFTs or plan to produce one for their communities should/do we need to seek there approval to use their name and pet likeness in any collection thats produced so as not to conflict with any of their own plans/art)
If its under the Sanctum Banner these for me are some of the boxes that would need to be ticked/sqaures away to ensure that everything and everyone is covered and happy

@JohnnyTheClown Sanctum is, in part, in the art space. Including their involvement and support of Pathfinders.
ANY project under the umbrella will require top notch management, as we have seen executed to this day. So, weather you like the idea or not, I’m pretty sure it’s a part of what is being done already, and will continue.
Yes, it is unfortunate that so many “roaches” keep sticking around and giving the tech a bad name. But they will fade as true utility surfaces more and more. I think it is important that we have an open mind and stop using the history of NFTs to extinguish great ideas from coming to fruition. Let the good grow.

you put it in a more concise why but yea totally agree, whatever is produced, whomever the team comprises of has to be the very best because it/they held to the highest of standards as it sanctum sanctioned, it will get seen as sanctum produced a NFT collection
and that is partly my problem with any collection we produce, whether its a commemorative collection through to a collection with ultiity using LST as its base like pathfinders, it will be held to the highest of standards for both art and any ultility (even if none, the perception will be it should have, both) simply because its a Sanctum Sanctioned collection
i’m not trying to be overly negative, its a wonderful idea to have a commemarative collection, but entire teams much larger than ours already struggle to produce and maintain NFT collections, so every aspect has to be carefully thought about, whether we agree or not, get it right or wrong it will reflect on sanctum as a whole

thinking about the rarity…
I think it might be cool to have a sort of gacha game:
-farm points
-burn points
-receive 1/10 Nfts depending on the amount of points you burn. the rarity can also be just in the colors. like shiny pokemon.
-each NFT has a multiplier bonus that depends on rarity
-NFTs can be evolved by burning farmed points and increasing their bonus
-you could also think about having special NFTs for when there are bonuses. for example, if you have two pets at level 30, only during the event, you get a new NFT which could be the fusion of the two LSTs. these fusion NFTs will not give bonuses but prestige within the community

I was thinking, If we actually get NFT for wonderland, how about having a NFT makes your infinitie evolves into it ? Or some kind of mechanism where the NFT impacts the evolution of your Inifinitie? Just like Eevee in Pokemon

I agree with the DRiP angle. A tradtional NFT collection would be problematic given the existing financial implications of $CLOUD
But a DRiP account would make a lot of sense.
Each drop could be a pet in focus, art provided by the LST, with Sanctum sending all the droplets collected back to that LST as USDC buys. And then the trading volume on those NFTs goes to Sanctum (which will be minimal).
LST gets a collection to do with what they want.
Sanctum and the LST get another reason to talk about buying an LST.
Fans get some art

that idea for the droplets (i really must find out how it works) could be something special to gove back, especially to the creator coins, like healthSOL for instance could really do some good

Agreed. And it’s yet another thing you can enlist DRiP artists to collab on. And artists are always scratching for new ideas for drops on DRiP so I expect you’d have no trouble enlisting people.

Hey everyone!
I had yet to comment here about the most incredible things that have been going on. This proposal got to the top 3 tier in the community vote! I really wanted to thank everyone who voted for it! It was beyond my expectations! Be sure that the grant funds will be put to very good use, and I will do my best to deliver the coolest NFTs I can manage to curate and create.
For many reasons, the first thing I’m doing is sharing the grant with two other initiatives closely linked to this one: Townhall and Cloudie.so. Townhall gave us the chance to set out the first Sanctum NFTs ever, and Cloudie.so is the platform where all of this is starting to be organized. I’m part of both initiatives, and the three of them will work together as a triad to boost the Sanctum Community experience and take it to the next level.
I love to see everyone brainstorming in this space about how the NFTs could be developed and used - many great ideas are floating around! Some of these would require direct involvement from the Sanctum team, and I will make sure to take those ideas to them, including concepts involving the Pets and their evolution and everything related to Wonderland’s Seasons.
In the meantime, I will kickstart the Sanctum Community NFT Collection, with the POAPs serving as the initial items of what will become a greater series. The art will initially be created by myself, @n8tr0n, and @cho, who are both talented artists from the community and have been collaborating on the Emoji Clan with me. Over time, I plan to invite other talented artists from the community to join in as well. I’m also already reaching out to artists from Pathfinders to see if they can participate, as this is a Sanctum partner project that produces great art, with both communities closely linked. One of them, muimooi, has already created two incredible emojis for us! Additionally, I know other talented artists that I will invite over time to join our community and create with us.
This initial collection won’t necessarily have utility yet, it will be more focused on the art. I want NFTs to be seen as significant works of art, not just speculative items or part of generative 10k collections. These will be unique non-fungible tokens collected for their artistic and community value, rather than their financial one. The financial value can still exist, but it must be secondary.
Lastly, let me share the image of our second POAP NFT, which I’m really proud of and consider to be the second NFT from our emerging collection. The idea behind it was developed with the help of @Jdd0810 and released during the Townhall that was originally envisioned by him, so I dedicate this art to him. The Diamond Hands concept, which has turned into a Diamond Cloud, is about believing in something - in a project, in Sanctum - and it perfectly illustrates the community feeling and vibe we are developing together.

Excellent! I’ll be looking more into drip. I’ve already been in contact with srijani over at Jupiter. He is the POAP artist and distributer. He gave some good info on POAP distribution. So I guess I will plug him for some drip info now.

Let me know if you need any help with the NFT art. I don’t mind creating some assets for a generative art collection. I have a lot of experience and even have 2 collections I’m dropping soon for my project DegenSend.com and I’ve been a ghost artist for a lot of NFT projects that I get no credit for. Anything to help the project and bring new eyes to Sanctum.

excellent idea, it will be great if all this nfts esp for sanctum can be introduced as a collection series and one can earn or buy it in opensea, blur etc. lst series would be awesome to get and this will have a good impact on the community
