When is the first asr?

Im sorry if this topic has been asked I could not find a similar thread. When is first voting reward (what Jupiter calls asr) for sanctum?

Taken straight from CLOUD-1 proposal :backhand_index_pointing_down:t2:

“We propose to split this 30M CLOUD into two tranches of 15M each and distribute CLOUD quarterly. We plan to distribute the first tranche ~3 months after the passing of this proposal.”

This proposal was approved on 10th February 2025 and we are calling it as ASR too (for now)

Wonderful I now realize thanks to you that the first proposal which I missed was for that. Missed the first 2 proposals but now im caught up. Ty. :+1::vulcan_salute:

Actually, the first proposal that counts towards ASR is CLOUD-3, as shown on the image below. It was approved on March 8. CLOUD proposals 0, 1 and 2 do NOT count towards ASR.

EDIT: At least that’s what was communicated, and what the dashboard reflects. And in case you think I missed the other votes, I voted in all five proposals, yet the first three don’t show like they count towards ASR.

yup you’re correct, also staking score counts towards ASR as well, which started calculating since staking started in February, but were only shown in the current dashboard in March.

So it should be on May 10th ? I’mma put that on my calendar

The combo ASR reward+ a funny season 2 could make some noise and give visibility to the project. I’m guessing we won’t have the season 2 before the first ASR reward, but announced before the second ASR reward (so I guess 10th of August) would be nice.
Or a season 2 in September, but it’s really far, if nothing happens until then, will be difficult to maintain visibility/mindshare on Twitter :face_in_clouds:

I wonder how the asr claim will look? Will it be a link on the cloud staking/proposal voting page or something else?

They announced on today’s call that the claims page is fully designed. They gotta roll it out so it should be soon but no date promised.

They did announce that ASR part 2 isn’t starting right away, which is a surprise to me because I thought we initially voted on CLOUD-1 that 30M cloud was to be used to fund active governance for “the next 6 months” split into 2 tranches.

If it’s the case that we voted on something that is now going to change then I think that’s a red flag. I think that’s a no no to not follow through with something that the shareholders voted on. I like the project but I have noticed that after the mobile wallet proposal did not pass that things have been a lot more quiet.

I don’t have a sense of what normal activity is except but to compare to Jupiter which always has a buzz about something. I don’t think Jupiter has ever not followed through with something that was voted on. But I’m not 100% sure. Anyway if 30m has been allotted for 2 ASR’s and now they’re saying there is a delay then I have to wonder why if the 30m is there. Maybe there is a public accounting we can see and or this is a normal situation. Im not sure.

Maybe you have a better sense of things since you’re actually going to the shareholder meetings and im not.

My stance has been always to just wait and see what the first asr is like as far as % return and then take it from there.

Anyway these are just the thoughts I have about this. I hope they are financially viable still as I like what they’ve done so far but it is a competitive market so we’ll see.

Hard to compare the two communities especially when Jupiter has one of the biggest/loudest communities haha. They’ve been around much longer with its parent company/project being around even longer! Definitely has been quieter here on forums since the team has shifted their focus

I’m not worried about the 30M cloud not being there.

I would like to get confirmation that 30M over 6 months is something we voted/traded to pass, or was the proposal for 30M over two three month periods that can be done whenever and doesn’t have to be 6 consecutive months? The way that it is written, I thought it was 6 consecutive months.

I have been a part of Jupiter ASR quarters where even though the first proposal for the period didn’t go live until like a month into the quarter, the 3 month period didn’t shift.

I say why don’t we give the team a chance to explain what’s going on before starting raising red flags and building a story that might not be such? Patience, frens.

Thats the purpose of an open discussion. We’re not building a story we are talking about it. What you’re suggesting is censorship to not talk about it openly amongst shareholders. The whole purpose of this is to give them an opportunity to weigh in. What we’re doing is why the forum exists.

Calm down, I’m not suggesting censorship. You’re just talking about red flags and the team pedaling back on something that hasn’t even happened. Just wait for it to happen, then you can yell as much as you want. Just wait before raising any flags without knowing what’s gonna be - is all I’m saying.

Maybe censorship not the right word. But all
Of us are a part of this discussion and each person is contributing and that is good.

Hey everyone! So, the final date for the ASR rewards distribution has been set, and it’s happening right on schedule , exactly 3 months after $CLOUD staking went live. That means… tomorrow, May 21st!

Let’s keep an eye for the next round!
Cheers! :clinking_beer_mugs:
