Hey Cloudfam Clan!

I’m thrilled to bring back fresh incentives and start the next chapter of the Cloudfam Emoji Clan’s journey!

After an amazing kickoff to governance, a season of stellar ASR rewards, and so much more, we ever-cheerful Clouds could use new emojis to capture all the feelings in the air. So, powered by the Sanctum Spectrum $CLOUD Fund, I’m launching a 1,500 $CLOUD reward pool to spark the creation of even more original Cloud emojis for Discord, X (Twitter), Telegram, and as NFTs in the Sanctum Spectrum DRiP Collection.
update: Huge thanks to @andrewsaul for donating 500 $CLOUD to the “other participants” bounty! In response, I’m adding another 200 $CLOUD to boost the winners’ pool.

At the end of the contest, we’ll hold a community vote to pick the best emojis, with the following rewards:

• 1st Place - 800 $CLOUD
• 2nd Place - 500 $CLOUD
• 3rd Place - 400 $CLOUD
• Other Participants - 1500 $CLOUD (shared equally)

Submission Guidelines

• Submit only original emojis not already in the Sanctum Discord emoji list (e.g. there’s already a crying emoji, coffee emoji, etc.)
• Deadline: July 31st
• Each artist can submit multiple entries - more entries, more chances to win!
• Do not submit the same artwork to both the Emoji Clan and Cloudspotting activities
• Submit your work here and in the “#・art” channel on Sanctum’s Discord
• Community voting will run from early to mid August
• By submitting, you agree to allow your art to be published across Discord, X, Telegram, DRiP, and other Sanctum-related platforms.

Format Requirements

• File type: PNG with transparent background
• Image resolution: 800x800px
• Use the official base files provided here: Sanctum Press Kit

If you’re feeling earnest and want to show appreciation to the artists making our community more vibrant, donations to the reward pool are always welcome! In the early phases of Cloudspotting and the Cloudfam Clan initiatives, community support was key in making those projects so special, and your contribution could make a big difference in bringing this one to life too.

Weird that the PNG got flattened and showed a white background. I’ve switched submissions to Discord for now until I figure out why. Let me test something here:

It worked! Looks like it only gets flattened and turned into a JPG when it’s 1000px wide. Dropping it to 800px solved the issue.

Huge shoutout to the No Bloco community for the impressive number of submissions and the sheer quality of their work! I was lucky enough to meet some of them in person

There are special prizes for the top 3, but all participants will also receive a share of the rewards.
