As we know being a startup founder team is a hard thing to do. In 1 side you need to keep shipping, in other side you need to manage the daily business including non highly important one for the metrics like merchandise, events, etc.
Thats why I propose the community to make a merchman assault team that focus on :
Making sanctum merch design
Bring the design to life with desired quality
Manage the supply and distribution
I think if we can make it transparent, choose the best affordable options in the market, and ship it effectively, we can make a good team that bring value to sanctum and communities.
Benefit that we can get from this Merchman Team work =
Team can focus on shipping
We can get more merch and lots of variation
If we pair merch with LST tutorial we can onboard new user that sanctum curious
I wont leading this project, but really happy to help and support. Hope someone from the community will stand up and bring this to live!
This is a great opportunity I wish I was artistic. Lol.
However, I think if able to do so, I believe this is something @cho could really use to exploit his talent.
What do you think Cho? You were thinking to design your own shirts. Lol
Nice! What about those little pins that go in people’s crocs
Really though, this is a great opportunity to put some epic designs into the web3 world. I think we also could do well with a coffee mug! Small enamel pins, and stickers of all the pets. Endless opportunity to create!
I would love to be in Designer Team. @luciotamino i hope you are also on Board?
I think @Halfa is good at leading, i can do the Design part.
I already have some designs in my head for T shirts.
I Agree with @n8tr0n. Without an online shop, it will be a mess with merch contribution. Make Designs is the easiest part. To contribute it, completing the orders and checking them that’s a lot of work.
nice idea but has practicality issues and is alot of work for someone/peope to do, if someone with knowledge in that arena is willing to step up and deal with the ordering/distribution/accounting side of things then great
but
having shipped stuff all around the world in my time, international shipping is a pain, has gotten expensive to the point of if your ordering a say a baseball cap, the shipping could be more than the item itself, air freight is best for speed but of course that costs, ship freight takes too long for the average buyer
is there an actual genuine market, my general opinion crypto merch is always asked for but in the end is usually a niche product and not that much actually gets sold (could be due to cost of producing in limited numbers and of course the shipping)
then theres the practicalities. where would it be stored, theres the items themselves, plus the shipping materials
who would provide the initial costs of producing the items, having just a few items and the cost soon mounts up
sorry always feel abit like the party pooper on here atm lol
I fully agree with you. The best option for clothing merch were to make Iron - on Transfers Like this where somebody could order these Transfers choose his own clothes and iron it on the clothes. This will save tons of costs and time. And i think shipping a envelope costs less than a package.
the other option, is if there were IRL meet ups as proposed somewhere, then a limited run with pre orders for standard stuff like hoodies, Ts and mugs would be more feasable
Hey fellas! Now that the first Townhall is over, I will have more time to look into this! Of course I’m in, guys! Already been talking to @n8tr0n about this, he’s doing a great job, also connecting everything, all the ideas, to cloudie.so! Great to see this idea taking shape, guys!
Wow! So cool to already see something coming together, impressive @n8tr0n.
There is another group out there already trying to do a sanctum hub website, correct? I can’t find the posts, but I read you were attempting to combine efforts with them. How is it going on that? I think your’s already looks more polished.
It seems we are 2 separate projects for now. Which is ok. We are doing things differently. The other project is more of an aggregator, pulling data. This project is geared toward education and onboarding.
