Onboard newbies to lst proposal

If bengshark can get them into discord, that’s really an amazing way for them to build community and find native language speakers!

looking solid brother! Can you share about Jargon Buster?

Thanks Yigit! I found its quite challenging for us who know some jargon and tech term to explain simply to newbies :frowning:

I keep iterating and Just onboard 1 more people yesterday with this explainer =

Almost every chain need a “Validator”
Validator make money with transaction fees when I sent money from A to B. They trade computer power for fees
Validator can make More Money with holding more Solana, and they can get more priorities
We as a user can delegate our Solana to them, people call this staking.

Validator who get more money, share their income to stakers.

But the downside is, if you stake your SOL, you can’t use it (obviously right, like money in bank if you choose to deposit)

Sanctum in the other hand make innovation. When you stake, they give you a ticket to represent the staking amount. You can use it as a collateral, or using other projects. This innovation called LST (Liquid Staking Token)

wdyt about this bro?

Bro i like this proposal. I am also not a builder. I am also growing knowledge around this space. I like your drawings, so if u need some artist help just let me know. I could make for you some quality designs. I am more in art than in technical side. So when i can start? My first day at a work?? After todays fp podcast i also understood more things about LSTs. So LFG.

if you can do arts, charts, info graphics/cards that sort of thing, i’m sure there can be a place found in the educational side of things somewhere to use your skills))

have a play and knock a little something up, no pressure , just a cool way to showcase your skills, a nice infocard about LST (LSTs for Dummies if you Will) or for one of the LSTs the ones i did way back when are here (not that’ll will be hard to improve on them lol) but some more info and socials etc etc

do one thats close to your heart and feel invested in, thats usually the best way to start, my minds vision but beyound my skills lol a nice faded cloud baclground that could be used across all infocardsl, with their logo, a brief description of their offering and method of APY, social links, jup and sanctum links etc)

I think text with the frames looks better. what do you think?

I agree with John. Education is critical on self custody because many users feel uncomfortable thinking that their funds might get lost without realizing that their funds are in more danger with CEXs because they have no control over them. If something happens to CEX, their funds are gone.

  • Super Practical Onboarding: I love how you’re taking real action by onboarding your friends to self-custody and LST. It’s awesome to see someone bridging that gap from CEX users to more advanced stuff like self-custody. That personal touch with live demos and phone calls is a great way to make this transition way less intimidating for new users.
  • Huge Potential: The math you laid out is solid! Even converting 1% of those Binance SOL holders could lead to 2 million new users for Sanctum. The simple pitch—500% more APY and fun sanctum pets—is such a low-barrier, easy win that would click with CEX users. This kind of growth could be a massive boost for the SOL ecosystem. Definitely on the right track here!

Very well presented thoughts, esp with the visuals.

  1. I’d be happy to help out, even in a fully unofficial capacity, with the copywriting and CEX bits and overall delivery

  2. I’ve only read the OP for now, will go thru the replies later. might have thoughts on those

@Bengshark

p.s. your OP reminds me I should’ve taken out the time to use visuals in my own proposal, lol. I wanted to do so, but got lazy and just posted text
